Headquartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the Foundation was established to serve the people whose work allows American families to live, sleep, travel, build businesses, raise children, and pursue their lives with greater safety and confidence.

More than 20 years ago, Morad Shaker made a private decision: that one day he would create an organization to honor, protect, and stand beside the people who stand between America and danger.

Over the years, Shaker had the privilege of knowing and being close to military personnel and first responders. Through those experiences, he saw their discipline, loyalty, sacrifice, character, and deep commitment to protecting their communities and country. That respect became the long-term foundation for the organization now being launched.

The Shaker Foundation for American Service Heroes is one of eight nonprofit organizations founded and funded by Morad Shaker, whose wider work includes humanitarian, educational, integrity, animal-protection, community, and international service initiatives.

This Foundation, however, is dedicated specifically to the United States and to the people who have protected, defended, rescued, served, and strengthened the country.

"This is not another nonprofit organization created to ask the public for money," Shaker said. "This Foundation is founder-funded. The plan is to serve—purely, independently, and with dignity. We are not seeking donations, government money, political support, religious funding, corporate sponsorship, or funding from any country or outside organization. We know how to serve, and we will serve."

The Foundation will not solicit or accept donations from individuals, governments, political groups, religious groups, companies, organizations, or foreign entities. Its work is intended to be funded directly through the Founder's own resources and long-term planning.

The Foundation's mission is not limited to current service members. It is designed as a long-term, five-generation commitment. Its future programs, recognition pathways, and participation opportunities are intended to include both those who are actively serving today and those who served years ago and are now retired, discharged, disabled, or rebuilding life after service.

The Foundation believes that a person's service does not lose its value simply because time has passed.

For that reason, retirees, veterans, former first responders, and prior public-safety personnel will not be treated as an afterthought. When Foundation opportunities are formally opened, current and former eligible service heroes will be able to seek consideration through the same structured eligibility framework, subject to verification and program requirements.

The Shaker Foundation for American Service Heroes recognizes that service takes many forms. The Foundation's eligibility structure identifies the following service communities:

MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS:
Active-duty personnel, National Guard members, Reserve-component personnel, military academy communities, retired military personnel, and members of all six branches of the United States Armed Forces.

VETERANS:
Honorably discharged veterans, disabled veterans, combat veterans, retired veterans, and Gold Star Families.

FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT:
Personnel and eligible service communities connected with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, United States Secret Service, United States Marshals Service, Diplomatic Security Service, and Federal Protective Service.

HOMELAND SECURITY:
Personnel connected with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, United States Border Patrol, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, Transportation Security Administration, USCIS Field Operations, and other eligible Department of Homeland Security service communities.

INTELLIGENCE AND NATIONAL SECURITY PROFESSIONALS:
Eligible individuals whose verified service has supported America's intelligence, national-security, protective, or strategic missions.

PUBLIC SAFETY PERSONNEL:
State Police, Highway Patrol, Sheriffs, Local Police, Corrections Officers, and Campus Police.

FIRST RESPONDERS:
Firefighters, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, search-and-rescue personnel, rescue teams, and other eligible emergency-response professionals.

EMERGENCY SERVICES PERSONNEL:
Eligible public emergency-service communities and organizations whose work supports response, rescue, protection, and recovery during emergencies and crises.

FAMILIES OF SERVICE HEROES:
Spouses, children, Gold Star families, and surviving dependents of eligible American service heroes.

The Foundation's future work is expected to include structured pathways related to recognition, family support, education support, emergency assistance, military and veteran support, financial-stability planning, and future initiatives. Specific opportunities, standards, and eligibility requirements will be announced only after the Foundation completes the necessary legal, operational, and administrative preparation.

The Foundation is deliberately not making promises of automatic benefits, cash assistance, employment, placement, certification, or recognition. Each future opportunity will be communicated clearly, responsibly, and with appropriate eligibility requirements.

Not every future initiative is being announced today. The Foundation intends to release additional information when its programs, legal structure, and administrative systems are ready to support service communities responsibly.
