The launch comes amid continued activity across the general aviation training community. According to 2025 data from the Federal Aviation Administration, the number of active student pilots in the U.S. reached 370,286, up 7.2% from 345,495 in 2024, increasing the need for flight schools to keep student progress, training records, and instructor requirements organized.
Within eAvio, theoretical and practical training records can be managed as part of the same student profile. Training programs can be divided into individual lessons, allowing instructors and administrators to see completed activities and follow each student's progress. Flight activity can also be connected with training records, giving instructors visibility into practical flight experience alongside lesson completion.
The platform also centralizes credentials for pilots and instructors. Licences, ratings, medical certificates, and related information can be recorded digitally, with expiration warnings helping administrators identify credentials that require attention.
Simulator training can also form part of a student's training record. eAvio supports simulator-session management, allowing simulator logs to be integrated into candidate records alongside conventional flight training. Multiple crew roles can be recorded, while lesson grades and solo and dual training time provide additional information for assessing practical progress.

Aircraft reservations, flight logs, maintenance resources, documentation, member records, financial transactions, and invoicing can be managed through the platform. GPS aircraft tracking can also detect takeoffs and landings and generate draft flight logs automatically.
